My name is Cara
My paintings are a mix of impressionist art and abstract art. I am currently selling my original oil paintings, canvas reproductions & framed prints. I use pressed leaves & flower petals in most of my original creations, I retouch any of my stretched canvas copies with acrylics & other mixed media materials so that each painting is one of a kind.
I've been painting for about 20 years and have never shared my creations until recently. I grew up and still live in Long Island, New York which provides me with the wonderful four seasons. Most of my art is inspired by nature & the dream world. Thank you Mother Nature for always providing inspiration with every passing season & thank you to my vivid dreams for starting me out on this journey.
Oil painting has always been a form of therapy for me and I'm excited and happy to finally be able to share my art with the world. I hope they bring the same feelings of peace & happiness to others, that they give to me.
